High Country Writers welcomes poet, holocaust speaker and author John Guzlowski as its guest speaker for its regular program meeting on Thursday, May 9th from 10 a.m. to noon at the Watauga County Public Library

Guzlowski's  most recent novel, "Suitcase Charlie," is a noir crime thriller about the murder of a young boy whose dismembered body is found in a suitcase. Set in Chicago in 1956, Guzlowski was inspired by a series of murders that horrified his city in 1955.
High Country Writers programs are co-sponsored by the Watauga County Public Library. The public is invited to attend.
