The Avery Community Foundation recently announced $3,850 in local grant awards.
The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Boone Development Association have announced appointments to the newly-formed Downtown Advocacy Committee, designed to support new and existing Boone area businesses.
The second event in The Schaefer Center Presents virtual performing arts series, presented by Appalachian State University’s Office of Arts and Cultural Programs, features a streamed production of North Carolina Black Repertory Company’s dramatic play The Resurrection of Alice.
