The Rock United Relief Fund, established by the Village Foundation of Blowing Rock, has so far raised more than $63,000 dollars to help Blowing Rock businesses effected by COVID-19.

Using equipment normally reserved for preparing students for high-tech manufacturing jobs, faculty and staff at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute are using 3-D printing technology to make face shields for local health care workers. 

With hand sanitizer as hard to find as toilet paper these days, Boone Drug is trying to help by making their own.

New River Light & Power (NRLP) is encouraging customers and the public to donate to its Good Neighbor Round Up Program to assist the community with their electric bills and help ease the financial burden that many High Country residents face due to the COVID-19 crisis.
