The Southern Appalachian Historical Association’s Lamp-post Carolers are available to bring a little Christmas cheer to your home or to someone special.

High Country Press reports Jill Privett, who is a SAHA Board Member, said the Lamp-post Carolers offer will come, dressed in authentic period costumes, and sing, spreading holiday cheer, while also providing SAHA with a fundraising opportunity.

Privett said Apart from private locations, the Lamp-post Carolers have also already entertained at public places such as the drive-thru Christmas parade and at the Dan’l Boone Inn in Boone, and continue to plan for other locations to make an appearance.

The Lamp-post Carolers are available to perform through January 8, following the Victorian tradition of an extended holiday season.
