The Western Youth Network will be auctioning Christmas trees again this year, but the Festival of Trees will be different.

In previous years, Western Youth Network has held its annual Festival of Trees tour and auction at Chetola Resort.

Due to COVID-19, this year's redesigned event will include an extended online auction of beautifully decorated Christmas trees, as well as a telethon you can watch live.

Beginning Wednesday, November 25, you'll be able to view and bid online on trees at various locations around the community.

On December 3, the telethon will be a two-hour virtual event is featuring a community talent revue, contests, prizes, and lots of ways to give.

The auction closes at 8pm on Thursday December 3 during the live telethon, featuring performances by area musicians, dancers, and theatre groups, heartwarming stories, and plenty of ways to support local children.

The public is encouraged to enter two sponsored Instagram contests featuring the “Most Festive Pet Photo” and the “Best Family Holiday Photo” with prizes for the winners.
