Reaching Avery Ministry has received two monetary gifts to assist them with several programs.
The Avery Journal reports that the High Country Charitable Foundation has provided RAM with $10,000 to help families with heating fuel and electricity this winter.
Additionally the Women's Fund of the Blue Ridge has gifted the organization with $5000 to assist women and children in crisis to help re-establish themselves in Avery County.
Reaching Avery Ministry has been serving folks in need in Avery County for 37 years with assistance with food, clothing, prescriptions, emergency shelter and more.
