The High Country Area Agency on Aging is pairing their Strong Mind memory building class with Strong Body Tai Chi to help improve cognitive health by reducing stress, building memory, and providing mental clarity.

Compared to other exercises, Tai Chi has been shown to significantly help reduce falls in older adults.

Tai Chi is beneficial for everyone; focusing on slow, mindful movements that build balance, strength, flexibility, and awareness.

The classes are offered September 23rd through December 13th, Mondays and Fridays from 1-2pm for Tai Chi (Strong Body) and then 2-3pm for Strong Minds @ the Boone United Methodist Church, room 200.
