A Street Safe session for young drivers will be held in the Watauga High School parking lot on Saturday, April 27th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The program is taught by local law enforcement, fire and EMS.

Participants will have fun, hands-on learning experiences about the dangers of distracted driving, speeding, tailgating, not wearing their seatbelt and driving while impaired.

Cost to attend is $30 and all students must have a learner’s permit and some driving experience.
