Tony and Emmy nominated director, playwright and author Moises Kaufman will visit Appalachian State University as part of the spring 2019 Visiting Writers Series.

Kaufman’s play, “The Laramie Project,” is one of the most performed plays in America.

Kaufman will hold a lecture at the Schaefer Center on Monday, April 8th at 7 p.m.

He will then host a reading and book signing in the Plemmons Student Union Grandfather Mountain Ballroom on Tuesday, April 9th at 11 a.m.

Both events are free and open to the public.
