The Watauga Opioid Summit will be held Friday May 11th at the Watauga Medical Center Auditorium, from 9am to 1pm.

You are invited to join AppHealthCare, Appalachian Regional Healthcare System, and other community organizations to learn about the impact of the opioid crisis on the community, find out what resources are available to help families, and develop collaborative strategies for effective education, prevention, and treatment.

Keynote speaker is Danny Staley, Director of the NC Division of Public Health.

You can also attend a free naloxone training session provided by Michelle Mathis of Olive Branch Ministry.
