Western Youth Network, The Children's Council, Watauga Medical Center, and Watauga Substance Abuse Prevention coalition are hosting FASD trainings coming up on Monday, May 14th.

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders:  The Impact of Alcohol Exposed Pregnancies, will be presented by Amy Hendricks, Coordinator of the NC Fetal Alcohol Prevention Program.

There are two separate trainings for different audience groups. 

One from 12:00-2:00 for substance abuse professionals, nurses, providers, social workers, etc. and another from 6:00-8:00 for parents, adoptive parents, early educators, etc. 

The training is free of charge, CEUs are available.
