turner.jpgThe Lenoir Police Department now believes the man who has been missing since April 8 is in no danger and is voluntarily missing of his own free will.

Lenoir Police Chief Joey Reynolds said investigators came to the conclusion that 35-year-old William Lynn Turner was safe after they had spoken with several people that have talked to Turner in person.

Before the latest developments, Turner had not been seen or heard from since April 8, while he was driving his tractor-trailer back to Lincoln County after a run to Florida.

Reynolds didn’t say where Turner is located.  The investigation remains open and ongoing, but Reynolds reiterated his department does not believe Turner is in any physical danger.
