For the past 16 years, the Hearts of Hospitality House has held its annual Ball as an opportunity for the community to come together to celebrate the successes of Hospitality House
and raise support for the agency that offers programs and services to those experiencing crises and homelessness in the High Country. On Friday, February 4 the Hearts of Hospitality House will host its 16th Annual Ball to raise funds for the Hospitality House in conjunction with the dedication of the new shelter. The dedication will be held earlier in the day at the new shelter at 338 Brook Hollow Road at 1pm. The Ball will follow that same evening at the Broyhill Inn and Conference Center beginning at 6:30 p.m.
This year, the Ball will start with a silent auction and a cocktail reception followed by a dinner buffet with a carving station and seafood display. Over 100 items have been donated by area businesses for the silent auction where attendees can bid on spa treatments, weekend getaways, art, jewelry and much more!
The Todd Wright Band will then light up the dance floor with a fabulous selection of music. When asked what Ball attendees could expect, Todd responded with, “Although we're all trained jazz musicians, I think the music for this event may be characterized as ‘a mixed bag of everything from swing to pop and rock.’ We'll include something for everyone.”
Reservations can be made by picking up a packet at the High Country Bank at New Market, or by calling Rose Bridgeman at 828-264-2733. Visit hospitalityhouseofboone.org to register online. Admission to the Ball is $100 per person, $70 of which is tax-deductible. Join us as we celebrate the 16th Annual Hearts of Hospitality House Ball and the Dedication of a new shelter to serve those in need
