Clendenin Earns All-Southeast Region Honors

Lees-McRae College junior Taylor Clendenin (Statesville, N.C.) has been named to the 2011 Daktronics NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball all-Southeast Region team for the first time in her career, announced region officials Wednesday.

Five members of the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer Team have been named to the 2011 Daktronics NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region Teams including senior defender Catherine Hauck (Lake Mary, Fla.), who was named region player of the year.

Bobcats Coast Past Tigers, 95-31

Five players scored in double figures to lead the Lees-McRae College women's basketball team to a 95-31 win over visiting Hiwassee College on Monday evening in Williams Gymnasium.
Lees-McRae (2-0) shot 52.1 percent from the floor, including a 54.3 percent clip in the second half, while limiting Hiwassee (2-2) to a 22.6 percent mark from the field on the evening.
