ASU Nips Wildcats in Extras

Hector Crespo (Miami, Fla./Florida Christian) hit a two-out, two-run single in the top of the 12th inning and Taylor Miller (Raleigh, N.C./Wakefield) capped a spectacular performance by striking out the side in the bottom of the frame to lift Appalachian State University baseball to a 3-1, 12-inning win at Davidson on Thursday evening.

'Dads sweep doubleheader in Hagerstown

The Hickory Crawdads topped the Hagerstown Suns in both seven-inning games of their doubleheader - 8-5 in game 1 and 7-6 in game 2 - before 2,862 fans at Municipal Stadium in Hagerstown on Thursday.

'Dads come back for 8-3 win in Hagerstown
