Annual Will Dicus Baseball Tournament Field Set

The annual Will Dicus Memorial Baseball Tournament will take place June 18 and 19 at five locations around Boone, NC. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Will Dicus Indoor Training Facility to be constructed on the campus of Watauga High School.

Crawdads Out Last Asheville, 10-7

The Hickory Crawdads again tied a season-high with seven runs in the seventh frame, taking the 10-7 win against the Asheville Tourists before 1,777 fans at Historic McCormick Field in Asheville on Monday evening.

Crawdads Sweep SAL Weekly Awards

The South Atlantic League announced Monday that the Hickory Crawdads, Class A Affiliate of the Texas Rangers, have won both of the SAL Weekly Awards for the week of June 6 - 12, becoming the first team to win both awards in the same week since the Charleston RiverDogs in 2009.

Crawdads power past Tourists, 12-3

The Hickory Crawdads tied a season-high with seven runs in the third inning and cruised to the 12-3 win against the Asheville Tourists on Sunday, before 1,480 fans at Historic McCormick Field, despite 53 minutes rain delay.
