The bracket for the 2013 Southern Conference Softball Championship has been finalized, and tournament action will get underway Wednesday morning at the UNCG Softball Stadium in Greensboro, N.C., the league office announced Sunday. Full Story


The Wilkes Board of Education has approved naming Chris Skabo to the new position of coordinator of county athletics and healthful living, according to various media reports.
