Sun Belt Opponents Set For 2014

Appalachian State University football will host Georgia State, Idaho, Louisiana-Monroe and South Alabama for Sun Belt Conference games in 2014, the league has officially announced. ASU Volleyball Suffers Another Setback

Appalachian State University volleyball dropped their second conference match of the 2013 season to Davidson on Friday night 3-1. The Mountaineers (9-7, 0-2 SoCon) fell behind 9-3 in the first set after the Wildcats (9-4, 1-0) scored five straight points.  Davidson continued to rally and never gave up the lead, winning the set 25-20. Heels, Illini Agree To Football Series

North Carolina and Illinois have agreed to a two-year home-and-home football series to be played in 2015 and 2016.  Carolina will play host to the Illini in Kenan Stadium on Sept. 19, 2015, and will travel to Champaign on Sept. 10, 2016. Full Story
