And you better believe it. The Watauga High football team, thanks to the return of quarterback Aaron Dobbins, took advantage of its opportunities and smothered St. Stephens 34-0 Friday night in the Northwestern 3A-4A Conference opener for both teams.

The future looks real bright for the Watauga High football team. The junior varsity team won its fourth consecutive game Thursday night by dismissing St. Stephens 44-28 in their Northwestern 3A-4A Conference opener at Jack Groce Stadium.
