The Lees-McRae basketball doubleheader has been postponed due to a winter storm in the area. The women's game was slated to tip at 3:30 p.m. while the men's squad was tabbed to tip at 5:30 p.m.

Stephen Atwood was a state wrestling champion from Watauga County High School and wrestled at Appalachian State University was inducted into the 2014 Class of the North Carolina Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Friday night.
