Appalachian State University baseball strung together five-straight hits and scored four runs with two outs in the top of the 10th inning to defeat East Tennessee State, 9-5, on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning at Thomas Stadium.

Freshman Kim Robinson of Milligan College, an NAIA school in Johnson City, TN., and a member of the Appalachian Athletic Conference, put up some impressive numbers in her first collegiate season.
