Good things happen to those who wait. Well, that was certainly the case Tuesday night for Watauga High junior Hunter Isaacs.

Watauga High football coach Ryan Habich has announced that there will be a parent/player spring football meeting on Tuesday, May 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the WHS Auditorium.

Michala McCune had one of her better efforts of the year, but unfortunately, it was all in vain as the Watauga High softball team dropped an 8-4 decision to St. Stephens in the opening-round of the Northwestern 3A-4A Conference Tournament Tuesday night in St. Stepehns, N.C.
