Senior James Smith impressed with a goal and an assist, but two late goals doomed the Lees-McRae men's soccer team, who fell 3-2 to Pfeiffer in Conference Carolinas play Saturday evening at Tate Field in Banner Elk, N.C.

The Appalachian State University mens' soccer team earned its third win of the season in dominating fashion Saturday night. The Mountaineers whipped USC-Upstate 3-1 in a non-conference game.
