The Lenoir-Rhyne Softball team (40-15) saw its 2014 season come to an end with a 3-1 loss to Wingate (38-19) Sunday afternoon in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Tournament at Haines and Carolyn Hill Stadium.

Alison Seramur of Watauga High capped off her senior year with a regional championship on Saturday at Providence High School in Charlotte, N.C.
