A trio of Lees-McRae womens' volleyball players registered at least seven kills in a sweep of Winston-Salem State in a nonconference match Wednesday evening at Williams Gymnasium in Banner Elk, N.C. The Bobcats won 25-23, 25-16, 25-18.

Sophomore Stephen Chapman (Greensboro, N.C./Northwest Guilford) tallied his first career multi-goal game and his fifth and sixth career goals on Wednesday as the Appalachian State University mens' soccer team defeated Longwoood, 3-2.

The men’s and women’s soccer matches against Emmanuel (Ga.) scheduled for Nov. 1 have been moved to Friday, Oct. 31 due to a cold front coming through the Banner Elk area, announced Lees-McRae Vice President of Athletics and Club Sports Craig McPhail.
