STATESBORO, Ga. - The NCAA Committee on Infractions announced Thursday that it has placed Georgia Southern University on two years' probation after two former staff members provided improper academic assistance to three football players, according to ESPN.

'Dads scored early and often in an 8-5 victory against the

Burns Selected For John Mackey Award List....NEW YORK —  Appalachian State University football senior tight end Barrett Burns (Woodstock, Ga./Etowah) was named to the John Mackey Award Preseason Watch List on Wednesday.

Hickory, N.C. - Lenoir-Rhyne University's Matthew De La Rosa has been named to the 2016 NCCSIA All-State College Division All-State Baseball First Team. NCCSIA is the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association.
