WHS GIRLS PICK UP FIRST WIN....WEST JEFFERSON, NC - The Watauga High girl's basketball team finally cracked the win column on Monday night with a 33-26 win against West Wilkes in the opening round of the Colvard Oil Holiday Classic.
A pair of football players were recognized by the Winston-Salem Journal on All-Northwest Teams. Watauga High senior Ebaugh, who has made a verbal commitment to attend Elon University next fall, was named honorable mention at linebacker, and senior Mason McNeill of Ashe County was named honorable mention at wide receiver.
