Men’s Soccer Ties Wofford in First Exhibition....BOONE, N.C. — In its first action of the preseason against another team, Appalachian State University men’s soccer held strong in a defensive battle, tying with Wofford 0-0 on Tuesday night at Appalachian Soccer Stadium at the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex.

Legendary Yosef Club Director to Retire....BOONE, N.C. — Gerald Adams, legendary Director of the Yosef Club, announced he will retire on Sept. 30 after 25 years of helping improve the experience of Appalachian State University student-athletes. Gerald has worked tirelessly to raise the overall contributions made to the Yosef Club, the athletics department’s fundraising arm.

Huskies Nip Pioneers, 2-1....BOONE - The Ashe County High boy's soccer team won its season opener Monday night with a 2-1 win against Watauga in a non-conference game at Jack Groce Stadium.
