JOHNSON CITY, TN - Former Pioneer, Kim Robinson, who is currently a senior at Milligan College was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Player of the week on May 18.

Sixteen members of the App State football team were named preseason all-Sun Belt Conference by Athlon Sports. Among those selected were: (first team) Jalin Moore, Beau Nunn, Colby Gossett, Tee Sims, Eric Boggs, Latrell Gibbs, Clifton Duck, Victor Johnson, (second team) A.J. Howard, Michael Rubino, Shaedon Meadows, Taylor Lamb, Terrance Upshaw, Myquan Stout, Devean Stringer, and Darrynton Evans.

The Apps open the season at Georgia on September 2. The game will be televised on ESPN beginning at 6:15 p.m. The Bulldogs are listed as early 11-point favorites.
