Boone to look at ASU’s Growth PDF Print

At tonight’s Boone Town Council meeting, the town will consider zoning amendments that would affect the growth of Appalachian State University.

The proposed plan would permit all university land uses within the university district, no public hearing necessary. University land use, however, would only be allowed within that district. Town officials hope the proposal will “ensure that university growth is located in areas acceptable to the town.”
