A Wilkes teenager reported missing by his grandmother on July 4 in Purlear appears to be a runaway, deputies allege.
17-year-old Paul Patrick is 5 feet 10 inches tall and 175 pounds. He is described as having brown hair and brown eyes. The teenager does not have a vehicle or a cell phone. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact law enforcement immediately. Foul play is not suspected at this time.
