Banner Elk claims to have ‘best parade’ PDF Print

Independence Day in Banner Elk is not to be missed.

Start the day off with a parade at 11 a.m., right through town. It promises to be a unique experience, according to Jack Masters with the Banner Elk Chamber of Commerce. Why choose Banner Elk’s parade?

Because it's the best parade in the High Country, Masters said.

And why is Masters so confident?

Because it's Banner Elk, he said!

A parade is not all Banner Elk has to offer for Independence Day. The park is full of activities, according to Masters, including games for kids. It’s the perfect family holiday, he said- and if you come out, you will not be alone.

Masters says to expect a big crowd like in previous years.

Masters hopes to see a record number of people in Banner Elk for July 4th.
