Watauga High senior Ben Robertson will be playing in the East-West Senior All-Star soccer game July 21 at UNC-Greensboro.

Robertson, who is second on the all-time scoring list at WHS with 54 goals and 140 points, will represent the Pioneers on the West squad.

He is Watauga’s first player in this game since forward Ben Norman last played in 2005 in the men’s game. Goalkeeper Sara Caldwell was the last women’s player in 2008. Robertson was an all-state and all-region selection last fall. He scored 19 goals with 19 assists for 76 points, helping WHS to a second-place finish in the Northwestern 4A Conference and a state playoff berth.
