The Watauga High baseball team had its game with Freedom postponed because of snow.

They hope to get the game in tomorrow night. But if the weather doesn’t cooperate, the game will be played on Monday, April 20th. The Pioneers will host McDowell in a first-place showdown on Thursday night at WHS-Field. And you’ll here that game beginning with our coverage at 6:05 pm on 100.7, MAC-FM.

Tonight’s game between Alexander Central and A.C. Reynolds has been called off due to cole conditions in Taylorsville. The game has been rescheduled for tomorrow night. South Caldwell and East Burke will play as scheduled. The Spartans begin the night in third place, one game behind WHS and McDowell for first place.

Alexander Central and St. Stephens, Freedom and Newton-Conover, and McDowell and Mountain Heritage were all postponed last night. No make up dates have been announced. And there is a good chance the Alexander Central-St. Stephens game will be made up at all.

WHS softball and soccer against Freedom, and WHS men’s tennis at A.C. Reynolds have been postponed today because of snow. No make up dates have been announced.

And a reminder, the Appalachian State baseball team is playing in Knoxville tonight. But no radio coveage on WATA. Our next radio broadcast of ASU baseball will come your way on Friday night when Samford comes to town. Our air time, 6:40 pm on WATA.
