Reports circulating that basketball title could be awarded by Queen City in 2010.

Media reports are circulating that talks are continuing to move the 2010 Southern Conference basketball tournament to Charlotte.

The reports indicate that even though Chattanooga, TN has the tournament next year, officials are considering moving that date to 2011.

Attendance was lacking for the championship game in Chattanooga even though the host school won the title by beating College of Charleston 80-69, for the school's 10th Southern Conference title.

According to gomocs.com McKenzie arena is a 210,000-square-foot, 15.5 million dollar multipurpose complex that can hold 11,218 for basketball. This past championship game only drew 5,042 according to reports.
