PRESNELL AND HARDEE SHINE FOR MARS HILL COLLEGE PDF Print

A pair of former Pioneers, Devin Presnell and Dalton Hardee, are having stellar seasons for Mars Hill College, a Division II School in the South Atlantic Conference.

 

Presnell and Hardee, who graduated from Watauga High in 2004 and were both all-Northwestern 4A Conference selections their senior years, have put up some big numbers this spring.


Presnell, who has started all 32 games this year for the Lions, is batting .388 with 47 hits, eight doubles, five home runs, 28 runs-batted-in, a .579 slugging percentage and a .457 on-base percentage.


Hardee is hitting .324 in 25 games, which includes 18 starts. He has 22 hits, five doubles, ten RBI and a .418 on-base percentage.
On Wednesday against Pfeiffer University, Presnell went 3 for 5 with a run scored and three RBI; Hardee went 1-4 and knocked in a run as the Lions won, 11-8. The Lions are 17-15 overall;  5-6 SAC.
