Boone joins 450 cities to fight global warming PDF Print

More than a dozen cities across North Carolina have pledged to an anti-global warming campaign- including Boone.

The signage of the U.S. Mayors Climate Protection Agreement means the Boone community pledges to work towards cutting emissions of greenhouse gases to pre-1990 levels. 450 cities nationally have signed the pledge. In adopting the pledge, Boone joins cities like Winston Salem and Gastonia.
