|SAC Media Day Set For Monday|

The South Atlantic Conference will host a Digital Media Day for media and fans previewing the 2014 football season. The event takes place on Monday, August 11. The event will also be hosted by the South Atlantic Conference website, www.thesac.com.
The session, which begins at 10:00 a.m., will feature all eight SAC Head Coaches and Commissioner Patrick Britz. Lenoir-Rhyne's Ian Shields will participate for 15 minutes beginning at 10:35 a.m.
The South Atlantic Conference invites all fans and media to log on to the league's website and ask questions. Fans can also ask questions via Twitter using the hashtag #SACFB.
The SAC is coming off a tremendous 2013 season that saw three teams earn bids to the NCAA Division II National Playoffs including Lenoir-Rhyne's run to the championship game. The Bears open the 2014 season on Saturday, September 6, at 7:00 p.m., against Point at Moretz Stadium.
