A live ESPN3 broadcast along with an interactive Sun Belt Social Suite headline the unprecedented live coverage of the 2014 Sun Belt Football Media
Day on July 22nd, the conference office announced. For the first time fans will be able to ask questions to be answered in real time on the live streaming broadcast of the Sun Belt Social Suite.
ESPN3 will air two hours of live commercial-free coverage of the event as hosts Drew Fellios and Cole Cubelic interview Sun Belt Commissioner Karl Benson as well as each of the conferences 11 head football coaches. ESPNs coverage of Sun Belt Media Day begins at 1 p.m. C.T. from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
For the first time, the Sun Belt Conference will unveil the Sun Belt Social Suite by featuring fan submitted questions in a one-on-one interview setting. The live streaming feature available on SunBeltSports.org will allow fans to pose questions submitted on Twitter and Facebook using the hashtag #SunBeltMediaDay. Various coaches and student-athletes from Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Idaho, UL Lafayette, UL Monroe, New Mexico State, South Alabama, Texas State, and Troy will be on hand to answer your questions.
The Social Suite will feature a morning and afternoon session to accommodate as many coaches and student-athletes as possible. The morning session begins at 10 a.m. and concludes at Noon while the afternoon session runs from 1-3 p.m. C.T. The Sun Belt Social Suite will be hosted by former Trojan Vision TV sports reporter Danielle Percival. The official schedule of guests for the Sun Belt Social Suite will be released soon.
