Freedom Girls In Final Four PDF Print

Both Charlotte-Ardrey Kell and the Weddington girls advanced to the semi-finals of the North Carolina Powerade State Games High School Basketball Tournament Saturday.




The two local teams play each other at 9 a.m. on Court 1 at Carolina Courts in Indian Trail, N.C., Sunday morning. The other semi-final game will be between Morganton-Freedom and Scotland County.


The winners will play each other for the gold medal at 12 noon; the losers will play each other in the bronze-medal game.


On the boys’ side, Raleigh-Millbrook and Fayetteville-71st will match up in one semi-final game; Voyager Academy will play North Rowan in the other.


Those games tip-off at 10:30 a.m. at Indian Trail with the finals at 1:30 p.m.
