Three members of the Lenoir-Rhyne University Softball Team have earned 2014 NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region honors by Daktronics.

L-R senior third baseman Haily Jarman (Wadesboro, N.C.) was named to the all-region first team while sophomore pitchers Maryann Hoskins (Havelock, N.C.) and Brandi Hole (Sandy Ridge, N.C.) picked up second-team accolades.

Jarman, a four-time All-South Atlantic Conference selection (2011-14), finished second on the team in batting average (.337), runs scored (32), home runs (six), RBI (38), total bases (92) and slugging percentage (.554) in 2014.

Jarman also started all 55 games this year for the Bears and earned all-region honors for the third time in her collegiate career.

Hoskins was 20-9 on the year with a 1.50 earned run average, 10 shutouts and 219 strikeouts en route to being named the 2014 SAC Pitcher Of The Year.

Hole led the league in earned run average (1.28) and finished with a 20-6 mark and 136 strikeouts.

All three players helped the Bears finish the year with a 40-15 record and a ninth consecutive berth to the NCAA Division II Playoffs in 2014. Lenoir-Rhyne also shared the South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Championship with Anderson this spring.

The first team selections will move on to the All-America ballot. The Daktronics All-America programs honor student-athletes in Division II athletic programs. The voting, nomination and calculations are all conducted by the school's sports information directors.
