Bears Earn Ninth Consecutive NCAA Berth PDF Print

The Bears are the fifth seed in the region tournament while the Bulldogs are seeded fourth. The game will be played at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium on the

campus of North Georgia.

 

North Georgia (43-9), the host school and the fourth-ranked team in the nation, will take on Mount Olive (24-24) on Friday at 6:30 p.m., and will face the winner of Wingate and Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday.

 

Lenoir-Rhyne, ranked No. 24 in NCAA Division II, won a share of the 2014 South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Championship with Anderson.

 

Anderson (42-10) hosts the other half of the NCAA D-II Southeast Regional Tournament which consists of Armstrong Atlantic State (30-12), USC Aiken (32-14) and Georgia College (37-15).

 

Tickets will be $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students per day. Children under the age of three will be admitted free. Tournament passes will also be sold for $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for students.

 

The winners of the two Southeast Regional Tournaments will meet at the highest remaining seed on May 16-17 in a Super Regional with the Division II Championship on May 22-26 at Moyer Sports Complex in Salem, Va.
