WHS Tennis Rained Out PDF Print

The Watauga High boys' tennis match with Asheville-Roberson has been rained out for the second day in a row. The first-round NCHSAA Class 4A Dual-State Team

Playoff match between the Pioneers (10-2) and the Rams (24-2), the No.1 seed from the Mountain Athletic 3A-4A Conference, will be played on Thursday.


The Class 4A Western Tennis Regionals for individual play will be at Corneilus-Hough Friday and Saturday. Dristen Trate will represent WHS in single play; Will Spinetto and Josh Lampkins will represent WHS in doubles play. The top four finishers in singles and doubles play advance to the state championships in Raleigh, May 8-9.
