The Watauga Storm Varsity boys; basketball team captured its third consecutive tournament championsnip this past weekend. The Storm won the Third Annual Alleghany Spring into Action Tournament in Sparta, N.C. on Saturday. The Storm went 3-0 against the field and defeated the Statesville Predators 67-54 in the

championship game.



The Storm defeated the Surry County Stars 63-49 in the opening round of the tournament, and they knocked off the Stillwater Boarding School from Fayetteville, N.C., 64-51 in the second round. Those wins gave Watauga the No.1 seed in pool play and moved them into the championship game.
