UNC-Wilmington University's 4x800 men’s relay posted its fourth win in five seasons at the Shamrock Invitational hosted by Coastal Carolina on Friday at Doug Shaw Stadium.


The relay of Connor Brooks, Tommy Schotzinger, Bryan Brackney and Dylan Skinner combined to win the race with a time of 7:43.29.


In the sprints, Meena Reid advanced to Saturday’s finals with a time of 11:93 in her outdoor debut in the 100 meters. Also advancing to Saturday’s finals was Tatyana Brewton in the 100 Hurdles.


UNCW received strong performances in the jumps with sophomore Trey Jones posting a fourth-place finish in the Long Jump with a distance of 22-2.50 feet.


On the women’s side, freshman standout Margaret Edwards placed third in the High Jump with a mark of 5-5. In the Vault, senior Marlee Cadwell finished sixth with a height of 11-5.75.
