Former Appalachian State University men’s soccer all-Southern Conference first team defender, Harrison Delbridge, has signed a USL Pro (United Soccer Leagues) contract with Sacramento Republic FC.

A four-year player for the Mountaineers, Delbridge scored eight career goals from the back line to go along with stellar defense for the Black and Gold. The Sydney, Australia and Raleigh, N.C. native was named to the SoCon all-conference first team in 2013 after being tabbed a preseason selection.

“It’s great that Harrison was able to move on to the next level,” said head coach Matt Nelson. “He had shown exceptional growth and improvement in his four years at Appalachian State and has given himself this opportunity at the next level. We wish him all the best and we are sure that he will make us proud.”
