|Wach Named SAC Offensive Player Of Week|

Lenoir-Rhyne University's Claire Wach has been named the South Atlantic Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player Of The Week, league officials announced today.
Wach, a sophomore midfielder from Cary, N.C., finished with 13 goals and three assists last week in leading the Bears to a pair of victories.
In the team's first-ever conference match last Monday at home against Newberry, Wach totaled five goals, two assists, six ground balls and eight draw controls in a 17-13 victory.
Wach added a match-high six goals against No. 12 Queens in a league contest on Friday in Charlotte, N.C., before tallying a pair of scores in a 12-11 victory on the road Sunday in Shepherdstown, W.Va.
Wach, a 2013 NCAA Division II Independent All-Freshman Team pick and a first-team preseason all-league selection this year, is currently tied for first on the team with 21 goals so far this spring.
Wingate's Jayda Lynch was named the South Atlantic Conference Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player Of The Week.
Lenoir-Rhyne returns home to face Coker in a South Atlantic Conference match on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m., at Moretz Stadium. The Bears will also host a fundraiser for the match as part of the HEADstrong Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is heading efforts to improve quality of life for those affected by cancer, specifically blood cancer.
