In the opener, Katelynn Howser sparked a four-run second inning with a RBI single before Abby Child ripped a RBI single to extend the lead to 2-0.
Danielle Swygert squeaked a RBI single through the right side before Child stole home to cap off the inning.
In the third, AU duplicated its scoring attack with another four-spot. Junior Jessica Neidigh delivered a three-run bomb to stretch the lead to 7-0. Swygert added in a RBI double to cap off the scoring while the Trojans secured the victory.
Charlie Dutton (0-2) (Monroe, Ga.) took the loss after allowing six runs in 2.1 innings of work.
Howser earned the win with four innings of no-hit ball while amassing four strikeouts.
In the second game, Molly Child blasted a two-run homer to give AU a 2-0 advantage in the first.

AU exploded for six runs in the fourth when Carly Hudson connected on a two-run single up the middle. The big knock came off the bat of Courtney Czentnar, who roped a three-run blast to left.
