The Carolina Panthers have signed their entire practice squad to reserve/futures contracts. The squad consists of wideout Brenton Bersin, quarterback Matt Blanchard, linebacker Ben Jacobs, guard Michael

Jasper, tight end D.C. Jefferson, offensive tackle Andrew McDonald, cornerback DeAndre Presley and defensive end Craig Roh.



Presley, who began the year with the Miami Dolphins, was signed to the Panthers' practice squad on September 18, 2013. He was originally signed as an undrafted free-agent cornerback by the San Diego Chargers in 2012.


Presley was released after the pre-season that year before he hooked up with the Dolphins. Presley was signed to the practice squad, but he was later promoted to from the practice squad to the active roster.


Presley, who played at Appalachian State University, was named the Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2010. He was also one of three finalists for the Walter Payton Award that season, which goes to the best offensive player in the nation at the Football Championship Series level.
