The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Basketball Team (7-5, 6-2) came back from an 11-point deficit in the second half to defeat Tusculum (1-13, 0-8), 71-68, in a South Atlantic Conference game Saturday night at

Shuford Memorial Gymnasium.

L-R senior guard R.J. McClure (Canton, N.C.) led all scorers with 22 points including 13 in the second half as the Bears defeated the Pioneers after trailing by a 52-41 advantage with 12:57 left in the game.

Three players scored in double figures for the Pioneers, led by Addison Flynn (Fayetteville, Ga.) with 17 points and five three-pointers, but Tusculum suffered its 11th consecutive setback.

L-R sophomore guard Will Perry (Wake Forest, N.C.) added 11 points and hit the game-winning lay-up with 14 seconds left which broke a 68-68 tie.

Tusculum received 12 points from Rory McClure (Canton, N.C.) and a game-high 15 rebounds from Keith Jumper (Lexington, N.C.) to go along with 38-26 advantage in rebounding but it wasn't enough to snap the losing streak.
